Internet Group S.A, formed by the portals iBest and BrTurbo, leads the Internet access in Brazil. It was established in 2000 and stands out because it was one of the first companies providing free Internet services. IG offers a wide range of integrated telecommunication services as data communication, broadband provisioning and dial-up access to the Internet. The company also operates a renowned Internet portal which covers several other websites and news. The company was acquired by Brasil Telecom and, today, it takes part in Oi Group, together they represent the main telecom provider group in Brasil.
